About

Hi! I’m Rebekah. As a bit about me, I live in shoreline Connecticut, I have been a felter for about 5 years, and I’ve had rabbits for about 4.

This blog is to chronicle my felting projects, and my new venture in French Angora rabbits! At the moment (Jan. 2014) I have 4 rabbits, 2 French Angoras, and 2 shorthaired bunnies. In a few months I’m planning on breeding my first litter with my French Angoras, and we’ll see where that takes us!

  1. Rebekah, Hi! It’s Mrs. Loescher from across the way with the frog carving (and the library!)I’ve been admiring your felting work and I was wondering if I could commission you to make a little felted javelina for me. I would need it about 1 1/2″ to 2″ long, to be used as a pin (so it could be kind of flat) Let me know if this is something you would be interested in doing! You can email me at loeschers4@comcast.net. THANKS!!

    • Hi Barbara, thanks for your interest! The yarn page on the blog is simply a gallery, so the yarn on that page is not for sale. However, I can spin a custom yarn for you – use the Contact Me page to let me know your ideas! I look forward to hearing from you!

  2. Hebekah, i am thinking of getting started with french angoras. I would like to use their wool for felting projects but read their wool is not great for felting because of the guard hairs. Have you used their wool for felting? If so, how well did it work? Thanks! Dena

  3. Hi Rebekah, This is Jenna, you sold us dear Stephano 2 years ago. We were so so sad that he passed away in November from some unknown stomach issue. We miss him so much, will you be having any bunnies this spring? Thanks, Jenna

    • Hi Jenna, I’m sorry to hear about Stefano. I’m thinking about having another litter this spring… I’ll have to see what my time schedule is like in a few months. If I do have a litter I’ll let you know! In the meantime, I believe my friend who raises beautiful English Angoras will be having a litter this spring. If you’re interested in English Angoras I can connect the two of you. Please let me know your thoughts!

  4. Hi Rebekah, Sure, feel free to connect me to your friend if you think she will have a litter. It sounds like you are busy. But of course, we would be happy to have one of your bunnies, if that happens. Our yard is so empty without our little Stefano. He had an awesome set up, a cage and a pen to run around in with a fence.
I wish you the best, you are probably getting close to college!
    Take care,
    Jenna
